Informative Speech Ideas

The most difficult part of a speech is often times selecting a topic. To assist in that process, I have compiled a list of informative speech ideas. Of all the speech types, informative is probably the easiest to for finding a topic. You can basically select anything that you would like to tell other people about. In fact, there are number of topics under Persuasive Speech Ideas that are also work as informative.

Be sure to use facts and figures rather than just giving your own opinions. Also keep in mind your audience, setting, and time constraints. Not all subjects are suitable for all ages. With regards to time, you will be limited in the depth of what you can explain. You can show how to strum a few basic strings on the guitar, but don't try to explain how to play a song by the Red Hot Chili Peppers. My number one piece of advice is to pick a topic that interests you.
